Day 0
You connect the catalogue
You install the plugin for WordPress. The plugin reads the catalogue and sends it. Without a plugin, you upload the catalogue file yourself.
What you need: the credentials for your store, or the catalogue file.
Setup
This is not a site rebuild. If your feed is ready, you see the first search working the same day.
Day 0
You install the plugin for WordPress. The plugin reads the catalogue and sends it. Without a plugin, you upload the catalogue file yourself.
What you need: the credentials for your store, or the catalogue file.
Day 0–1
It goes through names, descriptions, attributes and images. It learns that “water bottle” and “insulated flask” are the same thing.
What you need: nothing. The platform does the work.
Day 1–2
The search runs on your real catalogue, before you touch the site. Here you set the order of the results.
What you need: an hour to try it.
Day 2–5
The plugin turns on search and chat in the store. Without a plugin, you paste the HTML widget into the pages. The design stays yours.
What you need: access to the store admin, or to the theme.
From then on
Automatic updates every hour, every day or in real time. New products included.
What you need: nothing.
What we need from you
The plugin for WordPress reads the catalogue and sends it. You export nothing by hand. The ones for PrestaShop, Shopify and Magento 2 are coming.
You upload the catalogue from the panel or from an external service. Formats: JSON, TSV and Google Merchant Feed.
The crawler reads the pages of your site. The text becomes the knowledge base of the chat assistant.
You upload data sheets, price lists and manuals. Formats: PDF, Word, TXT, HTML, CSV and images.
The catalogue feeds the search. The crawler and the documents feed the chat: they give it the context the catalogue does not hold — shipping, returns, delivery times. From the catalogue we need at least product code, name, description, category, price, availability and image. The more attributes you upload — colour, material, size — the better the search tells variants apart.
What you can measure
The dashboard doesn’t count searches: it counts how many turn into revenue. This is a real reporting period.
From search to order
1–27 July 2026
starting point
85,9% on the previous step · 85,9% of the total
12,7% on the previous step · 10,9% of the total
39,5% on the previous step · 4,3% of the total
47,3% on the previous step · 2,0% of the total
Figures measured by the StoreGentic analytics dashboard on installations in production. Percentage changes are calculated by the platform against the previous comparable period. Recorded on 27 July 2026.
It’s the only thing you need: the feed you already export for Google Shopping works as it is. Create a free account and start from there.
Free plan: one store and up to 500 products, no credit card.
