How StoreGentic goes live on your e-commerce site

This is not a site rebuild. If your feed is ready, you see the first search working the same day.

Day 0

You send us the catalogue

The feed you use for Google Shopping is fine as it is. Or an export from your back-office system.

What we need from you: the address of the feed, or a sample file.

Day 0–1

StoreGentic studies the catalogue

It goes through names, descriptions, attributes and images. It learns that “water bottle” and “insulated flask” are the same thing.

What we need from you: nothing. We take care of it.

Day 1–2

We turn the search on in a test environment

It runs on your real catalogue, before we touch the site. This is where we tune the priorities.

What we need from you: an hour to try it together.

Day 2–5

It goes live on the site

The widget goes into the store pages. The design stays yours; what changes is underneath.

What we need from you: access to the theme, or a technical contact.

From then on

The catalogue updates itself

Automatic updates every hour, every day or in real time. New products included.

What we need from you: nothing.

What we need from you

What we can start from

Feed for price comparison sites

The most common format. If you already export it for Google Shopping, you are set.

Catalogue file

A file exported from your back-office system, or from whatever you manage your products with.

Direct connection

Your system sends changes to StoreGentic as they happen.

In every case we need at least: product code, name, description, category, price, availability and image. The more attributes you give us — colour, material, size — the more precise the search gets on variants.

What you can measure

From search to order, step by step

The dashboard doesn’t count searches: it counts how many turn into revenue. This is a real reporting period.

  • 85,87% delle ricerche si chiude con una scheda prodotto aperta
  • 7,04 € di fatturato generato in media da ogni ricerca
  • Margine e non solo fatturato, sugli stessi ordini

We start from your product feed

It’s the only thing we need to show you the search working on your own products.

No commitment, no credit card.
